Earning Free Badges of Rank?
Units can earn free badges of rank from May 1, 2009, through April 30, 2010, by participating in the 2009 Friends of Scouting Campaign.
There are several requirements that need to be completed prior to April 30, 2009.
The first requirement to achieve is very easy. Your unit needs to schedule with your district finance team the date of your unit’s FOS presentation. The presentation must be scheduled before Dec 31 and held prior to April 30, 2009.
On January 1, the individual unit goals will be established and those units that have scheduled their presentations will have the opportunity to receive free badges of rank for one year.
