You are cordially invited to the Wetassa District’s ANNUAL ADULT RECOGNITION DINNER Saturday, November 12, 2011 at The Rafters Restaurant, 9426 W. Wagner Road, Lena, Illinois

Festivities begin with a social hour (cash bar) at 5:30 p.m. Suggested dress is casual, non-uniform for anyone consuming adult beverages. Introductory comments at 6:15 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The district will present many awards this evening, including its highest award, the District Award of Merit.

A Silent Auction will be held during the social hour. Bidding will end at 6:15 p.m. Proceeds from the Silent Auction will go toward dinner and award expenses. Payment and pick up must be that evening.

RESERVATIONS:

The cost for the event is $15 per person ($120.00 for a table of 8) if reserved by Tuesday, November 1, 2011.

LATE RESERVATIONS:

The cost will be $17.50 per person ($140.00 for a table of 8) if reserved and paid November 2 through November 11.

WALK-INS:

Any payments or walk-ins at the time of the banquet will be $20 per person/payment. All walk-ins will be seated by a host/hostess at tables designated for extras.

District Committee Workshop – October 29, 2011

District Committee Training is one of the objectives for the 2011 District Performance Recognition Program in Scouting’s Journey to Excellence Program. Wetassa District will host a Council wide District Committee Training Workshop on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church on Pearl City Road in Freeport. The Workshop will run from 9 am to 3 pm. This will be an opportunity for all District Committee members to complete the necessary training if they already have not done so. Current District Committee members who have not attended a District Committee Workshop and new District Committee members are urged to attend. Please contact your District Chairman or District Executive to sign up for the workshop. There is no fee for this Workshop but you will need to bring a lunch.
